So we met at Hoboken and we headed to the city....so pretty much we were talking all the way until he hit the first flood place on Rob's food places. Then we headed to Chinatown (made a second stop for food)but made stops around stores in Broadway Ave. We went into Uniqlo and well once again I got something nice for a REALLY cheap price.<br /><br />First I saw this coats that were at 59.99....I was ok I guess I could buy it...only problem that the same coat was all around the place marked in different places and also the men and women coats were so similar that I was getting confused and so I gave up on it. Then we went to the second floor and I found this great jacket that was 49.99 and well there were only two small size ones (in two colors) I got the mustardish-one while Rob was thinking about getting the brown one...so I decided to go and pay for it....WELL GUESS WHAT...IT WAS 29.99!!!! I PRETTY MUCH SAVED LIKE 20$ FOR AN AWESOME JACKET. That was the incentive for Rob to get the brown one lol.<br /><br />After that we finally arrived at Chinatown...not much really around since now it became kinda &quot;meh&quot;...so we went for the third food stop at this place in Chinatown that for some odd reason didn't let anyone leave with food...yeah..weird. After that we decided to walk to Union Square/14Av, but he got a called from his friend Caimie (I'm writting like this because of the One Piece character lol). So we decided to get on the train to Penn.<br /><br />Over there we made a small stop for cash (Rob did) and then she lead us to many fabric stores between 38th and 34th street (I made a stop at Staples for supplies for my final project). And well after that we decided to go to Kinokuniya while talking on the way there (and me talking about Green Lantern since she commented she wants to do comic book cosplay commissions). At Kinokuniya I found this One Piece Strong World book that was 15.20$!!!! so of course I bought it (it has a poster of the whole crew in mafia suits and a set of cards)....and well we were around talking about manga series going for too much, AnimeNEXT and the difference between Anime and Comic Book cons.<br /><br />After that we went to Book Off and well not much around really and finally she lead us to this place called Saya (I been there before with Karen and Peter), she left then (now I know a commissioner around here!! woot!!) and me and Rob got MELLOOONNNN BREAD!! (we did the MELLOOONNN thing). Then we went to Midtown where I got my comics and well Rob got a Blackest Night comics. Then we headed to Anime Image before they close (since they seem to close every time I decide to go to the city with the people).<br /><br />Over there I went bold and bought FINALLY a P.O.P Brook figure!!!! Since it was so cold outside I decided to order pizza...it was yummy, also decided to clean around my room and finally when I went to get my mail I got a check for 50$ from a job I had 2 years ago...it seems that amount was hold from me by mistake and just now they pay me.<br /><br />Anyways since I was practically done with all my work I remembered about the special Live One Piece Podcast.....pretty much I stayed there until a little pass midnight since it was so much fun. I had to woke up and well I started to watch anime/videos and doing my stuff...I was going to Pathmark but I wasn't feeling like it anymore.<br /><br />So it was time for me to go and I passed by the bank to get money since I was planning to do it today, but since now I was working.....the bad luck continued as the bus for some reason decided to go another route and so I had to take the backup bus (which leaves me far from work and thus I have to walk for about 10 to 15 mins). Once I got at work it was kinda slow and once AGAIN...someone didn't showed up...so I had to ask someone to stay until 8 at least to help me cover with breaks. <br /><br />Thank god it was slow because...one of the crew was sick and well he was getting worse so I let him go (we were close inside so it was ok and doable). So I went out in the middle of the windy day and well got to work like 20 before 7am......the truck was there!! So I decided to start doing some other stuff since I knew it was a big truck order.<br /><br />Ok.....I started to move the things when I noticed it was 7something and only 1 person showed up, I called the other person that was supposed to be there but nothing.....she arrived sometime by 7:30ish....I was pissed. So I kept on going since I was waiting for one more person....well 8, 8:10, I called him..nothing, 8:30...I was SUPER MAD. Since now I had to both do the truck AND clean the grill and other stuff. I took so long that I didn't do some things I should do by then.....<br /><br />Well someone showed up by 10am (I had to open despite been way behind with some stuff)...she thankfully helped me (and someone else called to see if I needed help). Well the GM passed by to help with the truck order, she wasn't happy...BUT with the people that were late/didn't called....more people started arriving and I told them to start right away. Well someone else didn't showed up, but with him he told the GM and another manager he wouldn't be around for Saturday...which is irritating that no one knew.<br /><br />Anyways the day went crazy...busy and in the end I stayed like 2 hours over my time....by then I wasn't going to NYC to meet with the people.<br />So I was texting with Karen to know how everything was and that I wasn't going and well...she was alone, no one called her and all...so I decided to go even if I was going to show up later than expected.<br /><br />I rushed home, took a shower and changed and well meet her at Kinokuniya....we ate and talk and well, I wasn't happy with what happened. And I saw the whole parade on TV...SPIDERMAN AND SPEED RACER!!!<br /><br />Then at 4pm I went to Pedro and well I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and...WOW...that level in the airport and the Russian invasion of America is insane!!!. Then at 5pm we got the dinner, it was so good (I brought some Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw since it would been very bad from my part to appear empty handed). I arrived to the store in time as they were half-way unpacking the new comics...so I didn't have to wait that much (I been there before when the delivery didn't arrived yet so I had to wait for an hour or so).<br /><br />After getting them (plus the Violet Ring...getting the last two next week), I decided to go to Pathmark and buy food for today (and that same day). I got some Turkey and mashed potatoes since..well is Thanksgiving..lol....and some Pecan pie (which I love and choose over Pumpkin Pie). Once laundry was done I went to my grandma's house with the turkey just to be told that there wasn't going to be any Thanksgiving dinner....so that means I'm staying home all day alone.<br /><br />After that I went home and well waited until time to go to work....for a reason I think I walked really slow so I missed the bus and decided to walk to work. Then on my way home I passed by Pathmark and got food...then arrived home and was about to start laundry when I realized.....THAT I FORGOT TO BUY DETERGENT!!!...so I'll do laundry tomorrow.... urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:czor:43526 2009-11-22T01:20:10Z 2009-11-22T01:20:10Z So no to-do-list?...nop...not today.<br /><br />So my day starts by waiting for the bus and standing for close to 30mins...because it was late. Then at work...well...hell.<br /><br />So the GM tells me to take over bc she has things to do...ok...I figured she will be in the office to do paperwork. Well busy time starts, she goes out comes back around 1pm and then......I NEVER SAW HER IN THE STORE AGAIN!!! And I realized because I went to the office during a small moment of calm in a pretty much BUSY DAY.<br /><br />To top it all she for some reason put 6...people in the morning/opening shift while I would literally end up during the afternoon shift with 5 people (me included) which for an extremely day as today it was impossible. I didn't changed nor counted the registers due to it, I have like 3 of those people staying up to 2 hrs extra to help me. EVERYTHING was done later/close to 5pm and on top of that I barely got any food.<br /><br />Stressful day.....at least I got to take home my Thanksgiving turkey from work and I'll take it to my grandma's house on Tuesday....but yeah...my feet are killing me, I'm feeling lightheaded and I bet I'll get hungry soon.....
