Highlights of the day:

-Helping Karen

So this was an even worse day than Friday......I woke up 5:20am to get ready for work since I was opening and buses do not pass that early on weekends I have to walk. So I went out in the middle of the windy day and well got to work like 20 before 7am......the truck was there!! So I decided to start doing some other stuff since I knew it was a big truck order.

Ok.....I started to move the things when I noticed it was 7something and only 1 person showed up, I called the other person that was supposed to be there but nothing.....she arrived sometime by 7:30ish....I was pissed. So I kept on going since I was waiting for one more person....well 8, 8:10, I called him..nothing, 8:30...I was SUPER MAD. Since now I had to both do the truck AND clean the grill and other stuff. I took so long that I didn't do some things I should do by then.....

Well someone showed up by 10am (I had to open despite been way behind with some stuff)...she thankfully helped me (and someone else called to see if I needed help). Well the GM passed by to help with the truck order, she wasn't happy...BUT with the people that were late/didn't called....more people started arriving and I told them to start right away. Well someone else didn't showed up, but with him he told the GM and another manager he wouldn't be around for Saturday...which is irritating that no one knew.

Anyways the day went crazy...busy and in the end I stayed like 2 hours over my time....by then I wasn't going to NYC to meet with the people.
So I was texting with Karen to know how everything was and that I wasn't going and well...she was alone, no one called her and all...so I decided to go even if I was going to show up later than expected.

I rushed home, took a shower and changed and well meet her at Kinokuniya....we ate and talk and well, I wasn't happy with what happened. After that we went around stores in Times Square, she got me a sweater at the GAP store and well after maybe half an hour or so we decided to part ways and go home.

Highlights of the day:

-Umm...getting home after an annoying day at work

So I went to work expecting it to be slow....WRONG...it was busy all day and on top of that the manager that made the truck order for Tuesday didn't thought that we would need stuff for Friday. So pretty much the whole day we were running with practically no stuff and I had to be calling many stores to get things.

Highlights of the day:

-Spending Thanksgiving dinner with someone
-Playing Modern Warfare 2

So I woke up at 8am thinking the parade would begun at that time...I was wrong but since I was up I stayed in bed until maybe 9:30. During that time all the way until maybe noon I was getting and texting people (one of the being Pedro who invited me to have dinner with him and his family later that day). And I saw the whole parade on TV...SPIDERMAN AND SPEED RACER!!!

Then at 4pm I went to Pedro and well I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and...WOW...that level in the airport and the Russian invasion of America is insane!!!. Then at 5pm we got the dinner, it was so good (I brought some Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw since it would been very bad from my part to appear empty handed). Then Pedro called Luis and we started playing the Co-Op missions until 9pm.

I went back home and pretty much was watching tv and online until 11ish......an ok Thanksgiving for me...it could been worse since I was planning to be home all day.

Highlights of the Day:

-Comic Book day!! (big week..got 7 books including Blackest Night #5!)
-Getting tasty food for today...
-Got a 12.4 Megapixels at BestBuy for 100$ plus free shipping!

So I woke up sometime by 10:30...and well I wasn't feeling like going to class (I know....this is the last time I'm cutting for that class) so I took a shower, got some foods and well waited a lil bit before going to buy comics. I arrived to the store in time as they were half-way unpacking the new comics...so I didn't have to wait that much (I been there before when the delivery didn't arrived yet so I had to wait for an hour or so).

After getting them (plus the Violet Ring...getting the last two next week), I decided to go to Pathmark and buy food for today (and that same day). I got some Turkey and mashed potatoes since..well is Thanksgiving..lol....and some Pecan pie (which I love and choose over Pumpkin Pie). After that I went back home and pretty much watched more anime and V...after that pretty much I decided to pay all the bills I can pay at the moment online (as well as the first 2 payments of school...3 more to go and I was supposed to start next month).

And also I decided to check BestBuy since I knew there were deals due to Thanksgiving and all......well..I got a 12.4 Megapixel camera for 100$ with Free Shipping (it was an online offer only..so no store pickup) which is good since my camera is like 4 years old and 6.2 Megapixels...so this camera is twice better and a fairly similar price.

This will be the last time I use this mode to write my daily blog....I noticed that making the list isn't that necessary so I will just go on what happened on my day.

Well woke up, did laundry after I got the detergent from Pathmark and then started watching anime and Heroes. Once laundry was done I went to my grandma's house with the turkey just to be told that there wasn't going to be any Thanksgiving dinner....so that means I'm staying home all day alone.

After that I went home and well waited until time to go to work....for a reason I think I walked really slow so I missed the bus and decided to walk to work. Lucky for me at the next stop the bus was there getting a person in a wheelchair inside, so I got enough time to get inside. After that I just walked slowly towards work since I knew that the annual inspection was that day and I hate when they come for it.

Lucky for me they were gone by the time I arrived (we got a 90) and well the night went ok....a little busy and well as the night went along it started to die out. In fact the last 30 mins was car-less so we got to get out early.

Final Words:

So I woke up and I was ready to do laundry when I realized.....I didn't bought detergent...>.>. Ohh well...I watched and did all I have online and then went to Newport to cut my hair.....after that I decided to go to the bookstore to MAYBE get a comic book TPB..(then I hear the store is closing and everything was 20%) so I got Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

After that I was stopped by those sellers that pretty much makes you try their products and try to make you buy something....I didn't gave him in but at least I got my hands fresh =D. I got home and well got ready for work.....

At work pretty much I was put to clean in the front area....problem was that there was people coming every 5 mins and I started to get more things to do as the day went on...which was annoying since all was accumulating. All to the point that I did all I could and left around 11:09....for which means I lost my bus and ended up going home walking (I made a small stop at Pathmark to get detergent).

You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when?" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Not much going on today.....a relaxing day, I didn't took over any shift which was good..I was pretty much taking over drive thru and getting rid of boxes and such. Then on my way home I passed by Pathmark and got food...then arrived home and was about to start laundry when I realized.....THAT I FORGOT TO BUY DETERGENT!!!...so I'll do laundry tomorrow....

So no to-do-list?...nop...not today.

So my day starts by waiting for the bus and standing for close to 30mins...because it was late. Then at work...well...hell.

So the GM tells me to take over bc she has things to do...ok...I figured she will be in the office to do paperwork. Well busy time starts, she goes out comes back around 1pm and then......I NEVER SAW HER IN THE STORE AGAIN!!! And I realized because I went to the office during a small moment of calm in a pretty much BUSY DAY.

To top it all she for some reason put 6...people in the morning/opening shift while I would literally end up during the afternoon shift with 5 people (me included) which for an extremely day as today it was impossible. I didn't changed nor counted the registers due to it, I have like 3 of those people staying up to 2 hrs extra to help me. EVERYTHING was done later/close to 5pm and on top of that I barely got any food.

Stressful day.....at least I got to take home my Thanksgiving turkey from work and I'll take it to my grandma's house on Tuesday....but yeah...my feet are killing me, I'm feeling lightheaded and I bet I'll get hungry soon.....

An ok day.....school was ok...we had presentation, a test (I wasn't ready for) and then we saw this documentary about Helvetica and it's massive use in design. After that I got home normally, got rady and all....

Now work....urrghhhh....well I wasn't in charge BUT I was in the drive thru and well annoying kids again showed up, it got busy to the point we were really behind. I got home by 3:30am....

So I went back to work today and well it was an annoying day right away. I had to take over the afternoon shift even if I wasn't in charge of it. And then I got told like....around 4pm that I was going to close bc the GM wasn't able to go...but I told her there was no way I could close due to school tomorrow morning so she had to come.

And well.....she gave me the promotion test!!!....for which I wasn't ready >.>....hopefully I passed (I hope) and well due to that I got out an hour later than I was supposed to and well...not only it was raining but I had to wait for the bus for almost an hour and on top of that like half a block away from where I was there was this short circuit that took the power down in that block.

I saw sparks flying from the electric post twice!!!

So it was an interesting day for me......I woke up and did my regular stuff until noon when I left to NYC for my field trip. I got to the NY Public Library close to 1:00pm....but since I didn't saw anyone I was worried that either I arrived to early and everyone was inside or they are late. Lucky for me my class showed up and well we were taken into a room and had a speaker showing books from the 1400's up to the early 1900's.

After that I left and went to Midtown Comics...AND NO ORANGE LANTERN SHIRT IN MEDIUM SIZE!!! (I'm getting it online...that's it), got my comics (along Blue Lantern ring). On my way home I contacted Pedro to see if we were going to hang out...he said no, so I went ahead and got some food....

Like an hour or so later...he calls me saying we are going...>.>. Well after taking a shower I realized why we were going, because Kathy I believed wanted to go out and since he is whipped...anyways we went to Newport and just went around checking places. After that we came back and I called my dad to make sure if they were coming for Thanksgiving or not....well they can't since there is no enough money and they are both working that weekend....

Final Words:

Today was a productive day...I went to the comic book store to pick up my comics from last week + the promotional lantern rings that are be given this whole month (got yellow, orange and indigo!). After that I went to my grandma and stayed like an hour making her some company...after that I went home (with a small stop in McDonalds for some minor food).

Then I caught up on Heroes since I wasn't able to watch due to work..>.> and then contacted Pedro who was in his way from work to come along to Staples so I can buy things I need for my printer. Well I ended up getting all my things before he could get out of the bus (well the driver passed the stop that was close to Staples)...after that we pretty much walked back to our respective homes while talking.

And finally I just stayed here home, put the cartridges in the printer and got some chinese since I'm hungry lol

Ok it was a somewhat productive day....I finished a paper that I needed to do for this week (not that big of a deal it was a two pager) and then I cleaned around my room.

Work was ok...slow and well with your annoying people at both front and drive thru. The only thing that I can say is worth to comment is that my schedule for next week has been changed...AGAIN...for the four time by now.....>.>

So another lazy day....this time at least I did some productive things (aside from those two I also cleaned my room).....but after that pretty much lazy all day since it was a Sunday with nothing to do. And in the end we didn't end up going because Pedro never called me...I bet he forgot about it while playing WoW....ohh well whatever

So I woke up close to 11:30 which well...is not normal...I got a call from work about the fact I sent the guy that JUST started yesterday home. I said my reasons and whatever...I really just wanted to rest since I was still feeling not so good....

The rest of my day has been at home watching anime, tv series and the such.....then at 6:30 I went to meet up with Pedro and with Luis to go see 2012......since Pedro didn't want to go to Newport so he can save money we went to 31st Street...our surprise to:

1-LONG LINE....

2-The one at 7:10 was sold out....so we had to get the ones for 9:30

3-It was 9$......so in reality he didn't save anything...

After that we went to eat at Pollo Tropical to kill time.....the food was ok, not great but ok...and well we were there for maybe an hour and a half....we decided to go back and wait inside. Good that we did because we ended up in the front of a line in order to see the movie.

After the movie we just went our ways to home.....mainly since the movie ended around midnight.

Ok so....not a great day......to begging with the weather has been crappy all day......at school I was falling asleep and THEN we got pack with lots of work for the end of the semester. After that I went to work...and......hell happened.

-Wasn't informed AT ALL that I was going to have TWO trainees that night.....I had to send the one with least experience home, because I wouldn't be able to train him when is pack (and now I was called due to that from work....>.>)

-IT was pack, with the highschool kids and on top of that they started again to make mess and all that I for the first time had to call the cops. (Funny how as soon he showed up they started to leave in pack).

-It was so busy that the cars never stopped until the minute we finished....

-Got out at 3:15am...or so....and I think I'm getting sick

Not much happening today.....we are still waiting for that inspection and so everyday we are like..cleaning and keeping all perfect!!!.....but today was a regular day....cold and rainy. I got a 179$ bonus aside from my 475$ paycheck this week and well....not much happening today.

So I woke up close to 11...which again is not a normal thing for me (although is becoming slowly one with all this extra days of work...closing, etc). After that it was lazy time....with of course some exercise small time (focusing on abs...which obviously I have not..lol). I have to order shoes for crew from home since I knew I wouldn't have time at work.

At work pretty much it was slow again...at least not as the night before...but it gave me time for cleaning and all...since once again I was told to leave stuff done for the next day (which they don't do for me when I open and that is kinda pissing me off a little bit)....and on a side note, the GM is giving me more Saturdays off......which is good...I bet they feel they have been putting me to work a lot lol
